Social Performance

Building An Organic Farming Community

In addition to the company doing organic farming itself, the company also promotes farmers in nearby areas to switch from chemical farming to organic farming, with the intention of creating an organic farming environment to reduce environmental damage and allow farmers and people in the community to consume plants, vegetables, and fruits that are free from chemicals.

This also creates income and jobs for farmers in the area. The company provides knowledge, supports equipment, and also takes care of, follows up, and checks the cultivation process to ensure confidence in the produce, and purchases the produce from farmers to be raw materials for the company’s restaurant, as well as to sell in supermarkets.

As of June 30, 2024, the company has supported approximately 100 farmers. During the years 2021-2023 and the six-month period ending on June 30, 2024, the company purchased 24,013 kilograms, 191,512 kilograms, 252,934 kilograms, and 182,831 kilograms of organic vegetables from farmers, accounting for 4.8%, 29.1%, 32.3%, and 35.4% of the total produce used in the company’s business each year, respectively.

Additionally, the produce will be used as ingredients in the preparation of certain types of food.

There are continuous activities to support the Phee Pan Nua community.

Occupational Health, Safety, and Work Environment Management

The management of occupational health, safety, and the work environment has a direct impact on the health and quality of life of employees at all levels, as well as relevant stakeholders, and is critical to ensuring business continuity. The Company is therefore committed to eliminating hazards and reducing risks related to occupational health, safety, and the work environment based on assessed risks and other relevant factors. To support this commitment, the Company has established a “Safety, Occupational Health, Work Environment, and Environmental Policy”, with a strong emphasis on strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The policy focuses on ensuring workplace safety, promoting employee health and well-being, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Company aims to reduce, control, and prevent workplace accidents, with a goal of achieving “Zero Accidents.”

In 2024, the Company recorded zero work-related fatalities among employees. However, the Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) increased by 0.03 cases per 1,000,000 working hours compared to 2023. The top three most common types of workplace incidents were 1. Cuts, lacerations, or puncture wounds caused by sharp objects 2. Injuries from falling objects 3. Slips, trips, and falls

The Company has conducted analyses and implemented corrective actions to reduce and prevent such incidents. It remains committed to lowering workplace injury rates in line with organizational targets by enhancing the effectiveness of control measures, developing both short-term and long-term improvement plans, and conducting site-level engagement to review operational standards. Additional safety precautions and workplace environment improvements have also been implemented comprehensively across operations.

In 2024, the Company organized 15 initiatives to promote occupational health, safety, and work environment awareness within the organization. These activities aim to foster a strong safety culture and raise awareness among employees.
