Background & Rationale:
Clean water scarcity remains widespread. One way to address the shortage of drinking water is by storing rainwater for use during the dry season, as climatic conditions continue to fluctuate. However, the rainwater storage containers used by local communities are often too small to provide an adequate supply of drinking water. Therefore, support is needed for communities facing this challenge. Ohkajhu has contributed to the construction of a rainwater storage tank at Ban Mae Pon School in Chiang Mai Province, helping students gain access to clean drinking water throughout the year and promoting good health by reducing the risk of illnesses associated with unsafe drinking water.
