Background & Rationale:
During the continued outbreak of COVID-19 in Bangkok and neighboring provinces, healthcare professionals remained at the forefront of responding to the pandemic. To express appreciation and provide encouragement to medical staff and nurses, Pluk Phak Phuea Rak Mae Co., Ltd., operating under the brand name “Ohkajhu,” launched the “Ohkajhu Sharing Kindness Against COVID-19 2021” project as part of its commitment to giving back to society.
Through this initiative, Ohkajhu donated 100 boxes of grain salad each day to medical teams and nurses. The project also organized a “Pick & Donate" campaign at participating hospitals, where visitors could take a bag of organic salad and make a voluntary donation. All proceeds collected were donated directly to the respective hospitals. Approximately 500–1,000 bags of organic salad were distributed each day through the campaign, with all donations contributed to support the participating hospitals.
Objectives:
- To encourage and support frontline healthcare workers.
- To provide organic vegetables to the general public.
- To donate the proceeds to support medical services.
