Background & Rationale:
Severe flooding caused by a dam collapse in Laos on July 23, 2018, affected many residents in Attapeu and Champasak provinces, disrupting transportation and daily living conditions. Both public and private sectors in Thailand collaborated to provide financial and humanitarian assistance to flood victims. Ohkajhu participated as part of the relief efforts to support those affected by the disaster.
Objectives:
- To support flood victims in Laos
- To assist government agencies in coordinating relief partnerships
- To provide essential supplies to affected residents after the floodwaters receded
