Background & Rationale
- The burning of agricultural waste, particularly dry leaves, is a key contributor to PM2.5 air pollution
- The Company recognizes the opportunity to maximize the use of natural materials
- The Company aims to reduce agricultural costs and promote sustainable development practices
Objectives
- Reduce open burning in the area and mitigate air pollution
- Increase raw materials for organic fertilizer production
- Reduce the Company’s agricultural costs
- Generate additional income for local communities
- Promote the Circular Economy in a tangible way
Key Targets
- Aims to reduce open burning in target areas by at least 30%
- Procuring a minimum of 50 tons of Yang Na leaves annually for value-added use
- Reduce fertilizer costs by approximately 10–15%
- Engage at least 20 households in the community
